Hello blog, it's officially week 3 of the making of this project. Now that we have our idea set, it's time to develop the characters, who they are, and what role they play in the opening.
In the excerpt they are only two characters:
Ana (our protagonist), female, white American
- Perfectionist who sacrifices her well-being for a higher GPA/class rank
- Disorganized
- Simple costuming
- Represents teenage girls who push themselves too far and don't have a life outside their academics/school.

Character Description:
Ana Hayes is a 17-year-old girl who is obsessed with the idea of getting perfect grades and being the best academically. Her grades are more important to her than her life. With this unhealthy habit, she pushes her loved ones away, entering a lonely world of pressure, anxiety, and ambition.
Mrs.Larsson, female, white American
- Calm, understanding, patient
- Formal stylish wear
- Wants to brighten the day of students and help them become the best version of themselves

Character Description:
Lara Larsson, commonly known as Mrs. Larsson, is a high school counselor/therapist specialist. She graduated from Duke University, and her goal is to make days brighter for teenagers. She loves to see beyond a student and help them to achieve their goals.
