Camera Shot Quiz
For this quiz, we had to pair up with a partner and create a story using 15 shots. The rules were to use one personal item and specific shots listed by our teacher.
I approached the project by brainstorming ideas with my classmate about the type of story we wanted to create. After some thought, we decided to use my bottle of water as the personal item and create a story about a lost girl searching for water. Our teacher allowed us to go outside and do our shots. We tried to capture no buildings, so it looked like our character was lost in the middle of nowhere. After we created the first shots of the girl being lost and looking for water, the story continued as a note appears and says the water bottle is under a table.
I think we did a pretty great job shooting the shots. We did a variety of different shots in different locations around the school, even one of them was a high-angle, so I had to go up a staircase to create the angle. I think we could have improved at the storytelling, maybe created a more unique story.
